Women's Gavia Winter Jacket

Really a great product: quality and style! Excellent clothing and suitable for the season

This is a lovely jacket warm and comfortable although I haven't tested it in really cold conditions . I would struggle to wear it with more than two thins base layers so I would advise a size bigger than you are if this is what you would want. I initially ordered an XS as this is usually what I wear I am 34 " bust and a slight build but I found it too tight and could barely do it up. I asked for advice re sizing and found the after sales service James Baggot prompt, friendly and very helpful. The return and replacement happened in super quick time and I would now use this as my company of choice for cycle wear. I initially chose the jacket as it is not made in China, I would prefer to buy British made products but this was the nearest I could find being made in Italy.

I have always found it difficult to stay warm, dry and comfortable in winter conditions, usually getting too hot and wet from condensation, or cold and wet from the rain. I decided to try the Gavia soft shell winter jacket and just love it! The wind proof front panels keep me warm and dry, whilst the breathable back and sides prevent condensation whilst keeping me warm. I’ve worn it in a range of temperatures from 15oC down to 5oC, and in wind and rain and have been completely comfortable. This jacket is worth every penny.
Fit wise, I’m a very busty size 14 and normally have difficulty getting jerseys and jackets to fit. The size L is just perfect and is cut quite long in the body too.
